Providence Health & Services Executive Assistant - Hospital in Kodiak, Alaska
Providence is calling an Executive Assistant to Hospital Administration to Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center in Kodiak, Alaska. This is a full time position on the day shift.

In this position you will:
Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, human resources, facilities, operations, and physician recruitment.
Collect data for reports, speeches, and correspondence.
Maintain and coordinate executive’s calendar, schedule, and travel arrangements.
Coordinate and prepare materials for Medical Director Council meetings and other meetings as requested.
Establish appointment priorities, re-schedule or refuse appointments or invitations.
Make appropriate referrals to others and routine judgmental decisions in the absence of the supervisor.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school graduate or equivalent
5 years progressive experience managing office administrative functions, projects, and/or liaison for executive level management
Fluent in Microsoft Office suite and database software
Expert knowledge of administrative practices, procedures, and protocols, and division policies and procedures
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's of Arts / Bachelor's of Science Degree
1 year experience in a medical setting with experience in medical terminology Experience with meeting and event coordination, video and phone conferencing
Knowledge of hospital information systems
About Kodiak Island Medical Center
Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center (PKIMC) provides comprehensive health care to residents and visitors of Kodiak Island. This critical access hospital features 25 acute care beds, including four birthing suites, one OB triage room, and two ICU beds. In addition, the Elder House, PKIMC’s long term care facility, has 22 beds.
PKIMC provides an extensive array of inpatient and outpatient services, including emergency department, surgery, laboratory services, maternity, general medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, sleep studies, specialty clinics, diagnostic imaging services and pharmacy and is staffed by a mix of primary care physicians, surgeons and specialists who provide family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics, radiology and general practice.
